The codes of luxury in travel have changed, join our webinar and listen to true champions of sustainability who have redefined true luxury. “Luxury travel today is defined less by thread count and Michelin stars and more by access to the people, places and experiences that represent all that is authentic about a destination. There’s no denying that comfort factors still apply and high standards of accommodation and dining will always feature on the luxury traveller’s wish list. However, today’s luxury traveller seeks more depth of understanding and immersion into local culture than ever before. People don’t just want to see – they want to participate. – George Morgan-Grenville, Chief Executive Officer, Red Savannah ABOUT OUR SPEAKERS: Anna Pollock, Founder Conscious.Travel Anna Pollock has 45 years’ experience in tourism as an independent consultant, strategist, international speaker, and change agent. Shinta Mani has been awarder nb 2 best hotel in the world by Tripadvisor. Located in Cambodia, near Angkor Wat, Siem Reap, Cambodia , the Shinta Mani is a model of how a hotel can be involved in the improvement of the local communities’ lives. Indeed, the hotel itself is funding the Shinta Mani Foundation, dedicated to teaching the local youth, provide medical attention to the people who can’t afford it and help small local businesses get funding. The cohabitation of the for-profit high end hotels with their non-profit foundation counterpart, how they work, exchange and benefit from one another to thrive and ultimately make the best impact on their environment, makes for a fantastic tale.
