What is the proper way of dressing up, according to the Bible?

Is there a way of clothing that God has prescribed for Christian women according to the Bible? How should women clothe themselves? ~o~ Bro. Eli (BE): I will answer you direct from God’s word in the Scriptures. This is what I can see now wherever I go. I went to China, I went to Hong Kong. I also have seen Shanghai, Shenzhen, in the Middle East, and I have seen also women in Singapore. I can see most of the time, women now wearing skirts as short as this, as short as this. Maybe this is longer because I have a big hand. Sometimes, it is only like this. The way they dress is very much inviting to the eyes. Why? And they really want your eyes to be invited: You are welcome. Your eyes are welcome because it is up to here, then there is a tattoo, then you would see a tattoo, there is a tattoo and it is exposed. Practically, the navel of the stomach is exposed. The blouse is up to here and the skirt is up to here, so it is exposed, then there is a tattoo. That means that you are being invited to see, to stare and to enjoy. What does that mean? I believe that is the meaning you are being invited by those women to stare at their bodies -- but is that the way a woman should dress according to the Bible? Let us read 1 Timothy 2:9, it says and we read. Bro. Jocel (BJ): 1 Timothy 2:9-10: “9 In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with braided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array; 10 But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works.” BE: You see, that is what the Bible says. Maybe you have not heard this teaching of our Lord Jesus Christ. You were allowed by your minister to wear whatever kind of clothing you want to wear, but if you are going to submit yourself to the will of God and to the will of our Lord Jesus Christ, this is the will of God: “In like manner also, that women should adorn themselves with modest apparel,” modest -- modest, “with shamefacedness and sobriety;” meaning, a kind of apparel that will not expose the shame that is in a woman. Maybe you will ask me, Why Bro. Eli, is there anything in my body that I must be ashamed to show people? You see, if you show people your thighs, it is, for God, it is something like showing to them your nakedness. Let us read in the Book of the prophet Nahum 3:5, it says. Bro. Daniel (BD): Nahum 3:5 “5 Behold, I am against thee, saith the Lord of hosts; and I will discover thy skirts upon thy face, and I will show the nations thy nakedness, and the kingdoms thy shame.” BE: You see, it is a shame for a woman to show her nakedness to people. It is biblical to wear modest apparel for a woman. I have a classmate sometime ago. I asked her I like the way you dress, I told her. She told me this is the way we dress in our country. It is prohibited in our country to show our body to people. Her skirt is up to here and she is wearing long sleeves that is closed neck but is not covered like other people. There are those who do not want to show even their eyes, they will not show to anybody, but the way that woman dressed, I liked. It is very modest, very simple. Remember the saying, “Simplicity is beauty,” that is biblical “in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety.” That’s the way the Lord of the Bible wants us to dress -- a modest apparel with shamefacedness and sobriety, modest, simple; not with so many decoration. God does not want us to be like that if we are Christian women.# ~o~
