Iconic designers from around the world take part in an exclusive fashion event in Buenos Aires. Local designer Marcelo Serna and New York's Carolina Herrera show-off their latest collections. Here's more.
The first edition of Trendation Buenos Aires brought together the creations of some of the world's top designers and local artists.
Trendation Buenos Aires has been dubbed as Latin America's "most luxurious fashion and art event."
Tuesday's show featured local designer Marcelo Serna, along with collections from Swatch and New York's Venezuelan-born Carolina Herrera.
Marcelo Serna kicked off the night with his latest collection.
[Marcelo Serna, Fashion Designer]:
"More than anything there is value to every item of this collection. First because the material that I used and secondly for the hands [people] I used. They are all from Argentina, because I always take care of artisans and artists. The palette was monochromatic from dirty whites to vanillas, and the textures were prevalent in smooth stamps and the way the fabrics fall."
Carolina Herrera's latest collection features bold colors and prints.
Wednesday's show will feature the likes of Argentine born New York designer, Gustavo Cadile and Argentine born Milan designer Min Agostini and pet-wear design duo Amores Perros with their latest collection of pet fashion.
The high-end fashion event runs from September 19 to the 22.
